John P. Meyers, PhD

John Peterson Meyers is director of the W. Alton Jones Foundation, a private foundation supporting efforts to protect the global environment and to prevent nuclear war; he was formerly Senior Vice President for Science at the National Audubon Society. He received his PhD from the University of California at Berkley, and lives near Charlottesville, Virginia.
