This is the Last Hard Paper Issue of NOHA NEWS. After Fall, 2007, We Will Go Entirely Electronic. Due to: (1) higher postage rates, (2) higher set-up and printing costs, and (3) to save a few trees, this will be the last issue of NOHA NEWS which will be printed on hard-copy. However, we will continue electronically on the NOHA website at www.nutrition4health.org/NOHA_NEWS.htm or simply go to our home page at www.nutrition4health.org then click on the "Newsletter" button. There you will find not only a local keyword lookup engine (by Google), but also a subject, chronological, and name index to every NOHA NEWS article from 1984 to the present! This is a much more efficient way to browse for a particular topic, person and/or date, than pulling out stacks of old hard copies and manually scanning through them.

I don't want to leave our last hard-copy issue without first acknowledging the many years of EXCELLENT service NOHA NEWS has received from:

• Cathe Barnaby of Central Business Services. Cathe has always been excellent at selecting exploded quotes and/or using the ones we suggest then arranging them with the many photos, charts, and/or graphs attractively on each page and ending all the longer articles at page breaks. Cathe has always generated at least two drafts —the first one without any exploded quotes in the three-column format to give us an idea how many exploded quotes we will need to generate an even number of pages. Often she will generate more than one more subsequent draft as we refine the exploded quotes and editing of this issue. Cathe has been formatting NOHA NEWS since the 1980s.
  
• Jeff Grovak from Super Press. Besides printing every issue of NOHA NEWS, Jeff maintains a file of photos of all the members of the Professional Advisory Board to place at the top of each "Doctor's Corner" article. This increases the quality of the final printed photo. Jeff has been printing NOHA NEWS since the mid 1980s, but Super Press has been printing NOHA NEWS since it started in the 1970s.

For those of you who do not own your own personal computers and have been dependent on our hard-copy, we are sorry to leave you. If you are willing to go to your public library or to a friend with a computer, you can keep up with our electronic future issues (see website address above).
